Biography

Rita Abdel-Baki, MSc, MA, is a doctoral student in the Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology Program at the University of Guelph working under the supervision of Dr. Angela McHolm. Before beginning her PhD, Rita completed her MSc in McMaster University’s Psychology, Neuroscience and Behaviour Program (Research and Clinical Training Stream), and her MA in the Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology program at the University of Guelph.

Rita has experience conducting comprehensive psychological assessments for children with learning, behavioural, and mental health difficulties, including Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), intellectual disabilities, learning disabilities, and social/emotional difficulties. She has trained at the Centre for Psychological Services at the University of Guelph, the Halton District School Board, and McMaster Children’s Hospital Child and Youth Mental Health Outpatient Program.
